Born and raised in Cambridge, Connie is the daughter of immigrant parents from Eastern Europe who came to Canada in search of freedom, opportunity, and a better life. Her background in database management and financial systems gives her a practical, results-driven approach to problem-solving.
As a longtime community advocate, Connie has supported local schools, managed student bursaries through the Kiwanis Club, and served on the City of Cambridge’s Environmental and Accessibility Advisory Committees. She has also contributed to the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Grant Review Team, advocated for fair budgeting through the Cambridge Taxpayers Support Group, raised awareness about child exploitation, and supported veterans through the Royal Canadian Legion – Galt Branch.
